We are Sandra and Julia Lynch, mother and daughter, located in Essex. We have been breeding Snowshoe kittens since 2002 when we bought our first Snowshoe, Shadycombe Gemini, who we stumbled upon whilst looking for a Siamese to breed from and instantly fell in love. Over time, our snowshoe family has developed, we now have 5 snowshoe cats, all adults. They are gemini, our first queen, now neutered, Maia (right) a queen, Cerbera, a queen, Roobear-Ursus, male neuter and Harley (Ilithia) our female neuter.
The Snowshoes have won our heart and we now have two breeding queens, Icycool Maia and Icycool Cerbera. It was important to us when we were choosing a new cat that our queen was a pet first and  a mum second. All our cats are brought up in our house with lots of love and attention and the Snowshoe fitted the bill perfectly with Gemini being a cuddly lap cat and an attentive mum. Due to moving home, our cats now have only limited access to the garden and have a small play pen outside for times when they want to play safely and we are not about to supervise them in the garden. Icycool Maia has proven herself as a fine example being awarded Excellent 1, Best Snowshoe Kitten and Best Snowshoe at her first show, which was a Snowshoe Special and was also mentioned in the Cat World Magazine. She has since gone on to win Best In Show Junior and become a Champion. All our kittens are brought up in our home, as pets with our other cats. They are all friendly and well socialised and are always fully registered and vaccinated before they go to their new homes. We also provide an aftercare package with samples of the foods they are fed on to enable your kitten to settle into your home and life quickly and comfortably.
